Indie spinoff inspired by the FNAF franchise

Creepy Nights 2 is a free-to-play simulation game that lets you go through a similar experience as that of a popular survival-horror franchise. In this indie project taking cues from Five Nights at Freddy’s, you play the role of a newly hired employee at a restaurant that caters to both children and adults. During nighttime, however, animatronic creatures roam the facility, leaving the player to survive the night.

In terms of gameplay concept, monster designs, and storyline, Creepy Nights 2 feel like a well-crafted remake of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. You can also check out Five Nights at Freddys: HW.

Survive the monster-filled nights

Players in Creepy Nights 2 takes on the character of a security guard responsible for keeping an eye on a restaurant during the night. The player's challenge is to stay alive throughout five terrifying nights in this restaurant, all while steering clear of these unnerving animatronics. Each night intensifies the fear and elevates the game's difficulty level, keeping players engrossed in this chilling survival game.

It presents a well-drafted spookiness that effectively manages to send a chill down the spine of players. The restaurant's atmosphere, marked by darkness and eeriness, instills a sense of dread and an impending threat. The designs of animatronics grab attention with their detailed features, The audio components are equally commendable. The disturbing sound effects coupled with spine-chilling music do a fantastic job amplifying the overall horror quotient of the game.

While the game generally delivers an enthralling gaming experience, it does come with a few hitches, highlighting gaps compared to the original. The game's controls can sometimes prove to be clunky and unresponsive, causing navigation difficulties during critical game moments. This can lead to player frustration. Additionally, the game is known to drain phone batteries quickly, necessitating constant charging during gameplay, which can disrupt the immersive gaming experience.

An enjoyable indie remake

Despite not being a part of the original FNAF franchise, Creepy Nights 2 remains a mostly enjoyable experience. The game’s unique premise, coupled with its suspenseful and immersive gameplay, cements its position in the horror game genre. While the mobile app version does have a few drawbacks, they do not substantially impede the overall gaming experience. Players should be prepared for an intense adrenaline rush and possible sleepless nights.
